Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Room settings and be comfortable independently evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients across the lifespan.
This role focuses on delivering evidence-based care, preventive services, health education, and chronic disease management while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and health screenings
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education
Manage chronic disease conditions and coordinate follow-up care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR/EHR system
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Active and unrestricted FNP license
Current BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in:
Primary Care
Family Practice
Urgent Care
Emergency Room / Emergency Department
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
Experience working with EMR/EHR systems
Schedule Details
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Every other weekend required
Additional shifts may be available based on clinic needs
Preferred Skills
Experience managing chronic conditions and preventive care programs
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong patient education and care coordination skills
Candidates with recent Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner experience are highly encouraged to apply.
